Overall ranking 8

Explanatory note

Many older people are looked after by family of friends rather than healthcare or social care workers. Caregivers are often overwhelmed by this duty and people wanted to know how best to support caregivers

Original uncertainty examples The lion's share of the burden is left on family. And family is often left unsupported until they too breakdown. ~ I think managing symptoms or conditions, or supporting someone causes a lot of moral distress on care givers as well as family/friends who support loved ones. ~ I support my 92 year old mother. I get overwhelmed with helping out with the everyday things. ~ I think that there needs to be more resources for supporting someone that takes care of someone. For example they need respite.
