Original uncertainty examples Now that men with DMD are living longer, are we seeing problems relating to pain years after scoliosis surgery, postural adaptation through metal fatigue over time, or further surgical intervention? ~ Does having had surgery in the early 1980's mean that more surgery is inevitable? Due to chronic pain, neuro pain and further spinal movement. ~ What are the longer term outcome/durability of metal work/spinal fusion in terms of further surgery and pain?
