This question aims to generate evidence to fill the gap concerning what might cause an acute exacerbation or flare of psoriatic arthritis. For example, uncertainties reflecting this question are; why does it seem okay one day and excruciating the next? Why do flare-ups occur? How can I predict if/when a flare will occur?
