Original uncertainty examples How does counselling and psychotherapy help? Which kind of counselling is most effective for people in end of life care? ~ Should counselling be available to all patients or those who cross a clinical threshold of measured distress? ~ What's the best way to evaluate effectiveness/outcomes of intervention (especially psychological spiritual care)? ~ Those who are rapidly approaching end of life but fall outside the Specialist Palliative Care services fail to get the holistic assessment and management associated with these services - when people in this situation find themselves in an acute hospital setting how can we improve and ensure appropriate end of life attention? HPC Teams are not staffed to meet these core needs. ~ What is the best model of care for specialist palliative care for those with long term conditions such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, COPD, heart failure etc..
