Negative effects identified in a qualitative systematic review ref: Dean C, Bannigan K, Marsden J. Reviewing the effect of hyperemesis gravidarum on women’s lives and mental health. British Journal of Midwifery. 2018;26(2): Plus further studies since then add to evidence base. However, no evidence identified on how quality and efficacy of treatments mitigate or exacerbate the effect.
